An Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool has shown it can speed up diagnosis for people with coeliac disease. The study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, shows how the AI tool can process biopsy samples faster, reduce waiting lists and help specialist pathologists diagnose and treat more people. The study was funded by our Invention for Innovation programme and led by Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
