Circular: Essential Drugs Programme Communication Platform on WhatsApp

The Essential Drugs Programme (EDP) communicates information around updates on medicinerelated matters, circulars on alternatives, upcoming webinars, call for stakeholder comment, generally via email and through the National Health Insurance website.
The EDP has recently created a WhatsApp Communities group, called EDP Communications, on which there are 4 groups that those interested may join:
- STGs and EML links: where updates to where the latest STGs and EMLs can be accessed will be shared.
- Webinars: where information on upcoming webinars will be shared.
- Circulars, medicine updates: where information on any medicine updates that affect medicines on the Standard Treatment Guidelines and Essential Medicines Lists, will be shared.
- General: this is an open group chat, where members can write comments. This is the only group that external members can send comments on.
