In response to a severe pathology workforce shortage, particularly in molecular pathology, NeoGenomics has developed a generative AI-powered "Pathology Assistant". The tool drafts interpretive reports for genomic tests, aiming to reduce pathologists' time per case, standardise results, and improve throughput.
