It’s time to talk to emergency medical dispatchers

An international survey found that emergency medical dispatchers (EMDs) receive very little performance feedback or follow-up on patient outcomes. Respondents were more dissatisfied with the lack of follow-up than feedback. EMDs indicated that both input and follow-up were crucial for job satisfaction, ongoing education, future patient care, and mental health.
