New recall in Salmonella outbreak linked to dietary supplements containing moringa leaf powder

As of January 29, 2026, a total of 65 people in 28 states have been reported as part of this outbreak. An additional strain of Salmonella is now included in the investigation. Epidemiologic, laboratory, and traceback data show that moringa leaf powder is contaminated with Salmonella and is making people sick.
