Bacterial Skin Infections in African Clinical Practice

This short course introduces healthcare professionals to the diagnosis and management of common and chronic bacterial skin infections, focusing on presentations in darker skin types and resource-limited African settings. Participants learn to identify, differentiate, and treat conditions such as impetigo, cellulitis, folliculitis, leprosy, and more, with emphasis on recognising clinical patterns in melanin-rich skin and applying appropriate antimicrobial strategies in primary care environments.
