Registered South African indication:
- Ear infections with intact eardrum
Cautions
Combination products may have additional pharmacological effects not accounted for by the action of the individual ingredients
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients in this combination product
- Perforation of the eardrum

- Breastfeeding
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
- Elderly
- Patients with low plasmacholinesterase concentrations or in those receiving anticholinesterases

Ear infection with intact eardrum
Glycerine/ Phenazone/ Benzocaine
1.185/0.05/0.01 (g/ml)
- Otic (ear): Instil 3-4 drops into affected ear(s), 4hrly
Paediatric dosage
Should not be used in infants
Methaemoglobinaemia has been reported in infants following the topical application of benzocaine and it should not be used in infants
