Application directions

• Blow nose
• Insert tip 1-1.5cm into nose and release gel, while holding tip of nozzle in place by squeezing nose with other hand
• In anterior bleed: 1 tube is sufficient
• If posterior bleed: 2-3 tubes will be needed
• Leave gel in situ for 30min

Glycine
Glycine is an amino acid produced by the body to form protein. Connective tissue (collagen) is a protein that uses glycine and is needed to ensure that blood platelets function effectively and reduce bleeding. Glycine therefore facilitates the formation of blood coagulants (thrombocyte aggregation)

Calcium
Calcium facilitates coagulation

Gel 
The gel exerts gentle pressure to the bleeding vessel in the nose to stop the bleeding
