Mechanism of action

Triamcinolone
Triamcinolone is a synthetic glucocorticosteroid that is approximately 8 times more potent than prednisone. The precise mechanism of action is not known but through control of protein synthesis, depression of leukocyte and fibroblast migration and effects on capilliary permeability, triamcinolone has good anti-inflammatory actions.

Econazole
Econazole inhibits the synthesis of the fungal cell membrane, which results in increased cellular permeability and leakage of cellular contents.
