Retinopathy of Prematurity Screening

All premature babies ≤1250g or ≤30 weeks gestational age (As per Sept 2014 WCH guidelines). They should be at least 1 month old and passed 31 weeks gestational age. (Do not delay beyond 33 weeks.) 

Babies who started screening at TBH and need follow-up examinations. 

Screening is on Tuesday at TBH hospital. 

Saturation targets for prevention of ROP in preterm infants: 

• >1.5kg or <32 weeks CGA: 85-90% 
•  32-36 weeks CGA: 88-92% 
•  Term baby: 92-95%
