Jackie graduated with distinction from Rhodes University in 1985 and has worked predominantly in the community pharmacy sector. She served 10 years as an elected member of the South African Pharmacy Council where she was the Chairman the Practice Committee. Jackie has recently been appointed by the Minister of Health on to the South African Nursing Council to advise on matters relating to medicines. Currently Jackie is the CEO of the Independent Community Pharmacy Association (ICPA), and a Fellow of the PSSA.
