Webinar speaker: Kerry-Louise Scott
|
|
|
Kerry-Louise Scott is a pharmacist in the EMGuidance Product Team. She has spent many months working on the EMGuidance Script and is excited to share her experience on electronic prescribing, the local legislative requirements and common questions received from pharmacists about the EMGuidance Script.
Kerry obtained her BPharm degree in 2007 at Rhodes University. She completed her internship at Universitas Hospital in Bloemfontein and her community service at Port Alfred Hospital in the Eastern Cape where she continued to work until moving into managed care. Prior to joining EMGuidance in October 2022, Kerry spent the majority of her career to date in various positions at Medscheme. She spent 7 years in the Health Policy Unit Medicine Team during which time she gained extensive experience in formulary management, Health Technology Assessment and medicine information. In 2019 she completed her Masters in Pharmacy (Pharmacoeconomics) through the University of KwaZulu Natal, with a focus on external reference pricing for her thesis.
Kerry is passionate about promoting access to safe and affordable healthcare supported by evidence-based medicine and the opportunities to facilitate this at EMGuidance. |
